I held the children in my arms, praying for the water to stop.” It is at that moment, as her cell phone is about to die, that Maria Chiara manages to type a message. She would like to say so many things to her mother, to her best friend. Before the screen goes off, Maria Chiara quickly writes the only thing she wants to ask her loved ones. “Pray for us.” 9:54 p.m., the time of this last post. Then nothing more. 　　--------------- 　　Episode 02 - Essere pronti a tutto 　　Emilia Romagna, May 16, 2023. “We entered the house, the family was there. They were scared to death. Water had flooded the first floor. That's when I noticed the girl.” Giorgia is in the middle of the room with Roberta next to her. The first one is holding Jenny, her one-year-old niece. Roberta is clutching something tiny to her chest: it is Diego, wrapped in a blue blanket. He’s only 45 days old. The water around them is rising, overturning furniture and chairs... The firefighters are speechless. 20 meters above them, a six-ton helicopter is hovering, waiting for information. Ennio grabs the radio: “Guys, we have two children... They're very small.”

High school student Jung-Won (Cha Ye-Ryeon]) works at an amusement park, dressed up as Dragon cartoon character. Then one day, a guy, standing among his friends, twists her dragon mask around, causing her to fall flat on her back. Shortly afterwards, she spots the guy that caused her to fall down. Jung-won proceeds to pour a drink over his head. A few days later Jung-Won is horsing around with her brother on the top floor of their home. They notice that a new family moved in next door. Jung-Won then gets a sickening feeling when she realizes that the young guy in their family is the same guy that twisted her dragon mask around in the amusement park. His name is Eun-Kyu (Jang Keun-Suk), a popular high school student that fronts the band “Doremifasolasido.”
